Needless to say that every runner has their own smart watch for running as well as a favorite app on a smartphone for recording running statistic. In this blog I would like to share my favorite apps that I connect them to my Garmin watch. Every time I finish running my running is automatically recorded to Garmin Connect and then the data is transfered to my other apps.
Strava
Probably the most popular app of all athletes! Actually the app is designed not only for running but also for biking and swimming (yes, it's a perfect app for triathlon lovers).
Running by Adidas
Frankly, I use adidas's running app for joining Adidas Running (AR) club. The app always has nice tips on running especially how to improve your (motivation) and performance.
On the go map
If you're looking for a tool to quickly design a course for your run, consider https://onthegomap.com. This website is very easy to use (support a webbrower on both PC and smartphone). It approximate the distance of the route, elevation, and etc. It can also export the route as GPX file that you can upload it later to your smart watch.
